Beat the Exam Blues at Regi

January 21, 2016

This week Regiopolis Notre-Dame students are able to enjoy various activities throughout the school during their lunch hour in efforts to de-stress and relax before exam week.

The student ambassadors say the activities are nothing extravagant, but are light and fun to remind students to be mindful of how they're feeling and manage their stress surrounding exams.

The Mental Health Ambassadors at Regi have organized events for this week such as, therapy dogs, yoga, a drumming circle, cookies, and a piñata which students are asked to write a bad habit or stress on the piñata that will be busted at the end of the week. Exams start January 27.

The Mental Health Ambassadors started three years ago, and Beat the Exam Blues week is just one of many events they put on. Beat the Exam Blues Week has been occurring over the past two years for both the exam weeks in winter and spring.
