Have you been struggling with your curly, coily hair?
This is known as “textured” hair, which refers to the unique and diverse patterns of curls, waves and coils that are especially found in those who might identify as Black and People of Colour (POC).
Students in grades 9-12 with textured hair, are invited to attend the all-day workshop “Loving Your Locks” hair clinic to learn hands-on hair styling and treatment skills from expert BIPOC stylists & community leaders.
Learn to care for, style, and love your hair in this hands-on textured hair workshop, made possible by EAWPublications in partnership with the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board.
