The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board (ALCDSB) Trustees approved an operating revenue budget of $193,253,444 and a capital budget of $26,468,000 for the 2024/2025 school year, at the Board meeting held on June 18, 2024.
The budget demonstrates the commitment of the Board of Trustees in meeting the needs of ALCDSB students within the confines of the provincial funding model. The budget aligns with the Board’s Strategic Plan and the Ministry of Education’s focus on learning and well-being to support students for success now and in the future, and in supporting those programs that have the greatest impact in the classroom and on students.
“On behalf of the Board of Trustees, we are confident that this budget will support the needs of our students in the Board’s four priorities – Faith, Achievement and Innovation, Equity and Well-Being and Resource Management,” said Terry Shea, Chair of the Board of Trustees.
