In the role of Student Trustees, Tessie, Emma-Leigh and Emily will act as heads of the Student Senate.
The Student Trustees attend monthly Committee and Board Meetings and other commitments throughout the school year. The Student Trustees are also part of the Ontario Student Trustees' Association, which is the voice of students across all of Ontario.

The ALCDSB also bid farewell to outgoing Student Trustees, Evelyn Shakell, Evangelyn (EJ) Kelvin and Shivani Narendranath on Tuesday night and thanked them for their service. 

Student trustees make a significant contribution, representing all elementary and secondary students' system wide.

The ALCDSB looks forward to welcoming its new Student Trustees as it continues on the mission to build faith-filled learning communities where each member is loved, inspired, and successful.
