Kindergarten students cook with local chefs

February 26, 2016

Student making pizzaOn February 25 Mrs. FarringtonCollage of images of students making pizza and Mrs. Chapman's kindergarten students were invited to join local chefs to learn how to make pizza. Chef Michael and Chef Scott showed students how to roll dough and add toppings to pizzas. After a demonstration from the chefs, each student made their own personal pizza. And then the hardest part- waiting patiently for the pizza to cook!

Last year the students also joined the chefs to learn how to make pasta. Thank you again to Chef Michael and Chef Scott for sharing this experience. We look forward to seeing what you will teach the students next year.
