Students learn about respect

Gerry Mitchell performing for a group of students.Collage of students enjoying a performance.On September 30, musician and singer-songwriter Gerry Mitchell visited Archbishop O’Sullivan Catholic School to perform two of his shows on respect. Grades K-3 students enjoyed Mr. Mitchell’s “Do” Respect performance where students learned about self-respect, respect of others, good manners and respect for their environment. Students danced to “The Positive Twist” and “Power Up, Power Down”. Mr. Mitchell also performed for grades 4-6 with his show “One Voice”. Students were encouraged to “stand up and speak out” about bullying with their “One Voice”. The students learned also about respect. Fun was had by all.
