J.J. O'Neill Wins “Canada's Most Active School”

O'Neill Catholic School has been named as Canada's Most Active School by the 60 Minute Kid's Club as part of the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  Since October, the students have participated in two- 60 day challenges and a 45 day challenge.  The students used their classroom laptops to track their daily eating habits, physical activity, sleeping patterns and screen time.  They were successful in winning the Fall, Winter and Spring Challenges and will receive the Most Active School Banner and a monetary prize on June 16th at Medieval Times in Toronto.  The prize money will be used to subsidize the school trip.  Congratulations to the staff and students for their dedication and efforts to be fit and stay healthy!
