Be Bold, Go for Gold!
St. Michael Catholic School community is wearing gold and raising awareness for childhood cancer.
A student at St. Michael's is currently battling cancer and students want to raise awareness and support their classmate. In addition to wearing gold on Monday, September 25, all students and staff painted gold on rocks, which will be placed along all garden beds at St. Michael's this week.
All rocks included a finger print by the artist, inspired by practices at Ronald McDonald House.
Rocks also had symbols of hope painted on - such as a cross, butterfly, sun and many more creative ideas.
