St. Michael school community fundraises for Ronald McDonald House

April 05, 2017

students wearing orange and golfAs part of their lenten service, St. Michael Catholic School community will be fundraising this week for Ronald McDonald House Charities. Ronald McDonald Houses provide families a place to stay while their children are being treated at nearby hospitals. This charity relieves the burden of travel and accommodations during these difficult times.

One of St. Michael's students, Marlow, is bravely battling cancer. Her family has benefited from and is greatly appreciative of a Ronald McDonald House. To raise money for this charity, the school will honour one of Marlow's favourite things each day of next week. Students can decide on which days they would like to participate. The suggested buy-in is $1.00 for each day.

During Marlow week, St. Michael Catholic School community raised $4,000!
