The SHINE Club is seeking self-identified racialized BIPOC volunteer facilitators who want to work with racialized BIPOC children, within ALCDSB schools, and children/youth serving organizations in the Trenton, Belleville and Kingston areas.
Volunteer facilitators will be provided with:
- Facilitator training to foster resilience in young children
- Access to easy-to-follow lesson plans
- Constant and ongoing guidance and support
- An opportunity to cultivate community
Your Commitment:
- 2 hours a week (during the weekdays) in local schools
- Currently recruiting for evenings, weekends, and summer programming
- Attend ongoing support sessions
- A desire to work with children
Eligibility:
- Have a desire to work and make a difference with children
- Self-identity as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Colour
