Women in Skilled Trades

October 23, 2019

​On Monday, October 21 students from across ALCDSB had the opportunity to participate in the Women in Trades event held at St. Lawrence College in Kingston. The day focused on promoting all pathways with a particular focus on women moving towards careers in skilled trades. This included a keynote speaker and a variety of hands on sessions, including: hairstyling, masonry, electrical, woodworking, plumbing, welding, heavy equipment tech and culinary.
