United Way Campaign 2019

October 07, 2019

united way.jpgThe employees of the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board have, for many years, been strong supporters of our local United Way. Once again, we look to you to participate in our United Way campaign by making a donation that will support our students and families within our communities.

All ALCDSB staff will receive an email from United Way with a link to make a donation or set up a pay roll deduction. If staff prefer a paper copy donation form, please contact your school.

Donations can be made to a specific charity of your choice, including the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic Education Foundation, which supports students and families within our Catholic system during times of crisis.

One of the strategic priorities of the United Way is to ensure children reach their full potential. We know as educators that children are better able to learn when they are not hungry and that high school graduation can break the cycle of poverty.

Together we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of numerous families, friends and neighbours.

An email will be sent to all ALCDSB staff on Tuesday, October 8 with a link to donate through the e-pledge system.

To access a fillable PDF pledge form:. This form can be returned to your school office.

We are committed to ensuring that the potential of each student is realized through the achievement of ambitious outcomes and improving in their learning to the highest possible level.

  • Stewardship

We embrace our responsibilities for the prudent and judicious use of the resources we have been allocated. In our context, we are committed to the development and growth of all employees, responsible and accountable practices and our call to care for all of God's creation.
