Last year, St. Martha students raised money for the StopGap Foundation through a milkshake fundraiser. This year, they're getting even more involved in this initiative that raises awareness about barriers in our built environment and provides ramps to local businesses.
On Monday, October 1 students Skyped with StopGap Founder, Luke Anderson to gain inspiration.
On October 11, 30 students spent the afternoon speaking with local businesses in downtown Kingston to share what they've learned and to spread awareness for this imitative.
On November 30, two St. Martha students spent their PA day delivering ramps to local businesses downtown Kingston.
Stay tuned for more updates from this awesome initiative!
